Join Us This Weekend
We invite you to worship with us at East Side Lutheran Church. Worship is the unique and central thing that we do as Christians. In the act of worship we respond to God with our thanks and praise, we open ourselves to God to be filled in the sacraments, and we lay before God the cares of our hearts in prayer. Even more, worshipping with others is an opportunity to be present with our brothers and sisters in Christ and to support them on their faith journey; they respond in kind with their presence for us.

Types of Service
All who believe in Jesus Christ are welcome to receive Holy Communion at East Side Lutheran Church. We offer three worship opportunities each Sunday. While scripture reading, preaching, and the sacrament of Holy Communion are central in ALL our worship services, they do differ in style.
Our Sunday services follow a blended traditional Lutheran liturgy with organ, piano, and special music in a relaxed style. Infants and children are welcome and encouraged to attend all our services (an un-staffed nursery is also available).
On the second Sunday of every month, A Service of Healing takes place after the 10:00am service (around 11:15).
Holiday Worship Services
During the Season of Advent (the four weeks before Christmas) there are Wednesday worship services at 7:00 pm with a congregational meal preceding the evening service. During the Season of Lent (the five weeks before Easter) there are Wednesday worship services at 12:00 pm and 7:00 pm with a congregational meal preceding the evening service. For additional worship services on Thanksgiving and Holy Week please check our events calendar for specific times.
