Greetings from East Side Lutheran Church. My name is Layne Nelson and I am honored to be called to serve as the Lead Pastor in this place.
In my time here, I have learned that this is a community with Jesus at it’s center, one that is deeply rooted in the city of Sioux Falls, and one that truly loves people. I pray that God would meet you where you are at in life today, and we would be honored to walk with you in Faith.
Associate Pastor Joel Pakan
My name is Joel Pakan and I am East Side’s Associate Pastor. As a new transplant to Sioux Falls, I am busy making new connections between our congregation and our community, but I am never too busy for a walk through the neighborhood (the best solution I’ve come up with for meeting in the midst of the pandemic) or an online Zoom meeting.
